America At The Seams Project

'America at the Seams' was a crowd-funded Kickstarter project by Artist, Nathan Rueckert that successfully funded on Opening Day 2016.  He created a 5 foot wide map of the United States from old tattered baseballs obtained from 50 persons in 50 states of how baseball unites our country.  The artwork made its public debut in the hallowed halls of the National Baseball Hall of Fame during the 29th Annual Cooperstown Symposium in June 2017.  The 50 stories are told in a high-quality hardcover coffee table book, self-published and released November 2017, and filled with vivid photography of the artwork; juxtaposed next to the stories from where those baseballs came from.  For more information, visit www.americaattheseams.com.
